A manager is like an oak tree seed;
many won't make it,
few would succeed,
but if tendered and cared for,
it grows stronger, resisting the elements;
it stands tall, proud,
looming over a luscious field of flowers.

comparing nature and management! I wouldnt have thought about it this way were it not for your poem. Another reason why these blogs are such a great learning tool. I really like the way your message comes across how not everyone as a manager makes it, but the skills can be learned.
ReplyDeleteYou wrote such a pretty poem Denise! I really like it. It reminds me of several Walt Disney movies and I just watched "Tombstone" over the weekend, in which an oak tree was a relevant meeting point.
